Maroushka grew up in the isolated Midwest and Central Wheatbelt of Western Australia, where she spent most days daydreaming and making art.

Now based on Whadjuk Nyoongar Country (Perth), her practice spans painting, textiles, drawing, sculpture, and photography. She holds an Advanced Diploma in Visual Arts from North Metro TAFE.
